Stability work should represent the final formulation and package, relevant climate and expected distribution time. Monitor critical active or nutrient levels plus physical properties such as caking, moisture, flow and odour when relevant. Multi-component premixes may have interactions that are not visible from individual ingredient data. The label should state supported storage conditions, and stock rotation should preserve enough remaining shelf life for the buyer’s feed-production cycle.
